As the Rabbi at the Yeshiva of New Haven Synagogue, Daniel Greer has been instrumental in the preservation of the three Torah Scrolls that reside there. The first Torah was a donation from a President of a synagogue in downtown Hartford. The second one was acquired from an elderly man who lived in Pittsburgh, PA, while the third Torah as specifically commissioned for the Yeshiva of New Haven.
